Mary Lincon is a popular Kikuyu Gospel musician with a huge following on her social media platforms. She is also a wife and mother of three children.
The Gospel musician has established herself as one of the biggest names in Kikuyu Gospel, with over ten years of experience in her career as a musician.
Marriage
The Gospel musician is married to veteran radio presenter Njogu wa Njoroge. The two are proud parents of children from previous relationships.
The couple got married in a traditional wedding ceremony in 2020. The event was attended by big names in the entertainment industry including media personality Wangeci wa Kariuki, radio presenter and comedian Muthee Kiengei, and Kikuyu benga musician.

Mary Lincoln has three children that she sired when in a previous relationship. She has been open to discussing her children and has been vocal about the struggles of raising a child with special needs.
The relationship between the two had been kept a secret for the longest time until when photos of their traditional wedding leaked.

Fans of both Mary and Njogu were quick to judge especially due to the fact that both parties had in the past been married with kids.
Njogu as revealed earlier on NAIROBIminiBLOGGERS was married to his ex-wife Anne Wairimu who was rumored to actually have been Mary’s friend. The two called it quits years ago with Ann settling in Nakuru where Njogu built her and their children a lovely home.
Mary on the other hand was married to Kamau Lincon for 13 years and together they sired three beautiful daughters. It has not yet been established why or when the two split but seeing as Mary just got married traditionally, it might have been years back.
Kamau went onto a Facebook page after news of Mary’s traditional wedding broke out and bitterly threw jabs at his ex-wife by calling her names.
“I owned that thing for 13 years with my three children. what’s funny about this. It is already second-hand things. All that glitters is not gold,” Kamau wrote.
In an old YouTube video posted by Kikuyu musician Martin Janet, Mary narrated how she underwent hardships and stress as she was raising her daughters to a point that she attempted suicide.
As Mary narrated and as reported in this previous article, the singer took pills in a bid to try to kill herself and end the problems she had been facing while raising her firstborn daughter.
Mary Lincon Exposed
On Tuesday 25th October, Facebook users were treated to a controversial expose by blogger whistleblower Martha Mwihaki Hinga, who revealed that she was in possession of an ‘indecent’ video of a Gospel musician.
According to Martha, the musician, whose name she did not mention, was entertaining a man through a video call while exposing herself. Raunchy photos of what looks like screenshots of a video called gospel artist were shared on social media.
The leaks triggered a flood of commentary, with netizens giving their opinions on the matter.
The Nairobian is reporting that the leaked nudes have caused a significant rift between Mary and her husband; veteran Gikuyu radio presenter Njogu Wa Njoroge.
The newspaper, which quoted a source close to the couple, reported that Njogu Wa Njoroge threatened to repossess a house and posh vehicle he bought his second wife after her nudes leaked online.
“Sources intimated to The Nairobian that her husband, veteran Gikuyu radio presenter Njogu Wa Njoroge, was shocked by the viral images of his second wife.
“One of her close friends told The Nairobian the incident has resulted in a major storm in her marriage. She said her man had threatened to repossess his gifts that includes a house and posh ride,” excerpts of the publication read.
So tense is the situation that Mary went to church to repent and seek forgiveness just days after her nudes leaked in a bid to save her marriage.
On social media, the beleaguered singer shared photos showing her kneeling and weeping as Bishop Michael Wanderi of Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) Church, Kiambu prayed for her.
“Yes, we went to the Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) Church for repentance and forgiveness prayer. Our God is merciful and offers those who repent a second chance to resume service to him,” she told the media after the repentance service.
Business Ventures
Other than being a successful Gospel artist, Mary Lincon has also worked as a hairstylist at her salon located in the Gikomba area in Nairobi. The salon reportedly used to be among the best salons in that area, although it is not clear if she still owns it.
Mary also reportedly owns a music band that is hired out for live performances across the country. In previous reports, some members of the band revealed that they receive generous compensation for their service as band members.
The mother of three also reportedly owns a big shop in Nairobi CBD, where she sells men’s shoes.
