None of the politicians bashing ODM leader Raila Odinga can get anywhere near him on matters political muscles, lawyer Donald Kipkorir has said.
This comes as a time when the leader is under intense mockery, especially from allies of Deputy President William Ruto, following reports that his handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta has begun shaking.
But the Lawyer Donald Kipkorir, a supporter of the former Prime Minister, argues that these people should leave Raila alone, considering that majority of them are very small politically and cannot compare to him.
He argues that attacking Raila, who, alongside his party, are international figures, is like provoking a lion, a behavior that hardly goes unpunished.
“Some puny village Political Parties forget ODM is a well-established Party with global offices in the UK, US, Australia, and South Africa and all others in between. They also forget Raila Odinga is a global leader. To throw stones at ODM or Baba is like pulling the testicles of a Lion!” he says in a tweet.
Raila remains a subject of attacks from many politicians, majority of them being youthful leaders allied to Ruto and his (Raila) former allies Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka, with whom he has fallen out.
Majority of these leaders have also taken issue with his said 2022 presidential candidature, urging him to step down from the race or suffer a humiliating defeat in the hands of the DP.
Raila, however, is yet to declare his interest in the seat, which Ruto, Kalonzo, Mudavadi and KANU leader Gideon Moi are eyeing.
