On Deputy President William Ruto’s tour today in Kisumu, the DP was riding in a black Lexus LX570 car of registration number KCD 996N as seen above.
It has been an unfortunate day for the deputy president on his tour to the lake city of Kisumu. The unlawful youths in Kondele hailed stones to the motorcade of the deputy president in a motive to block his campaigns.
A look at these damages or rather glass shattering that the vehicle received tells us that they were not ballistic proof glasses as most people thought.
We say this because had it been that the ride was made of ballistic proof glasses, then the affected parts might have dented slightly due to the pressure of the stones and could not have easily broken like how they did here.

However, the incident was controlled by the police after using teargas to disperse the crowd.
On the other hand, it has been evident that the DP’s favorite vehicles for the rallies are Land Cruiser Prados and the black Lexus LX570 car. These vehicles have been spotted in various rallies.
The majority of Kenyans believe that such a high-profile leader as the Deputy President can only ride in a bulletproof vehicle but what the Kondele fracas revealed was something different.
The estimated value of the car damage is over 5.7 million in Kenyan currency. This shows how expensive the black Lexus LX570 car is.
The Inkas Armored Lexus LX 570 is the ride we are talking about and it comes with some ballistic proof features that the DP might need as he crisscrosses the country in his quest to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
