Youths slathering the streets of Uasin Gishu were contrite after the city council officers disrupted their ventures, yet again.
The police officers disrupted their peaceful protest in a daunting fashion. A section of the hustlers cried as they saw their belongings thrown to the ground.
It felt as if the youths were caged in a rhythm of constant denial of their business undertakings.
Speaking to reporters, they complained that their wheelbarrow and handcart were all seized, crippling their mode of operation.
Another individual would proclaim that 6 of their own were previously injured, with some nursing severe injuries that saw them sent to the intensive care unit (ICU).
According to them, it would be so backhanded for governor Mandago to step in and respond to their plight.
They criticized the detrimental move by the police to halt their businesses despite them taking huge loans that they are yet to pay.
They further argued that the police are against their ventures and that the police only want to prosper as they, hustlers, slumber into financial inexistence.
It’s at this juncture that they threatened the police to pick them up and even kill them in stadium 64 if they so desire.
