A video of vibrant Kapseret member of parliament Hon Oscar Sudi driving while lashing out at COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli surfaced online.
He further mocked him over his past BBI remarks where he, together with other pro-handshake brigade warned that absolutely no one could stop their reggae (BBI). He reminded him that God had stopped the reggae and urged him and his bandwagon to start worshipping the living God.
“Francis Atwoli, Coronavirus ni noma, hainoni na wazee kwanza hiyo miaka yako Atwoli unajua mimi nakuhitaji hapo mbeleni uone ya Mungu ni mengi (Francis Atwoli, Coronavirus is tough and does not go well with the old like your age Atwoli. You know I need you in future to see that God’s deeds are many),”Oscar Sudi is heard saying in the clip.
Many Kenyans reacted to the clip with some urging leaders to stop drama at least during these tempting times. Lawyer Nick Ruto, son to Deputy president Dr. William Samoei Ruto also weighed in on the clip by posting the clip with a laughing emoji to mean he was pleased with Sudi’s remarks.
The bitter rivalry between Oscar Sudi and COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli is due to their different political stance. Francis Atwoli is a strong DP Ruto critic while Sudi is a staunch ally of the second in command.
