Police Station Drama After a Rogue Police Officer Chase His Ally With An Axe Ready To kill him.

The drama unfolded at Ekerenyo police station in Nyamira County after a rogue police officer who was allegedly drunk chased one of his colleagues with a sharp axe ready to kill him.

According to sources the officer now identified as Kelvin Gitonga refused to turn up for his duty as he was expected at around 1800 hrs.

The officers is said to have woken up and went to the nearby shopping center where he drunk for a while before he came back to the station.

OB Statement

In a statement recorded by officer Benjamin Cheruiyot of number 225841 CPL from ikonge police patrol base in Nyamira County,Kelvin rogue police officer came back late, and after having a look at the occurrence book he saw his name on the disciplinary list when all hell broke loose

After going through the occurrence book and saw he had been booked, sources have it thay the officer went to the exhibit store and picked an axe.

In the statement, the officer chased his ally Benjamin Cheruiyot threatening to kill him where the officer was forced to take to his heels out of the station.

Arrest

After the scary odeal the officer was reported to his seniors at Nyamira north sub county where the commander odered for his arrest.

The scene of the crime was visited by an officer now identified as Tansi, they Managed to recover the said axe and also arrested the rogue officer.

Kelvin rogue police officer was booked at magagwa police station where the axe was also kept as evidence, the officers are still in custody awaiting more actions.
