It is undoubtedly clear that president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto are pulling in the completely opposite direction over the last few years. This is since the 2013 handshake between Uhuru and Raila.
The head of state and the former premier initiated the building bridges initiative (BBI) which appears to be an initiative being actively opposed by DP William Ruto.
And today, Uhuru had a meeting with the Bodaboda riders association of Kenya at Pumwani social hall in Nairobi County where empowerment initiatives were discussed.
However, during a roadside rally after the event, Citizen TV reports in this video HERE that the youths started chanting a message to President Uhuru Kenyatta over what they want him to do on his deputy William Ruto.
The youths submitted that he should reach out to the deputy president over the building bridges initiative after his remarks that he wants to use it to unite all leaders.
This is even as the president insisted that he will explore all options to bring leaders together and rally behind the BBI proposals.
