In the past few days, the ODM Party has been going through in-house wrangles with leaders Otiende Omollo, Junet Mohammed, James Orengo, and John Mbadi Clashing over the party’s position as far as the BBI report is concerned.
There have been major divisions in the party with the likes of Otiende Omollo disagreeing with his party’s leadership on whether to Amend the bill in Parliament or pass it in its original format.
Otiende’s position seems to have rubbed the party the wrong way with the Rarieda MP dismissed from his position in the JLAAC committee in the parliament.
According to ODM minority leader in Parliament Junet Mohammed, the party decided to remove Otiende from the legal committee following his statements where he reportedly castigated the ODM Party during his visit to Nyatike where he had attended a burial.
According to Junet, The party could not sit back and clap for Otiende and instead had to deal with the MP who has been sabotaging ODM’s stand on BBI. Video.
