Wycliffe Oparanya is one name one cannot forget to mention in matters of western Kenya politics as well as national politics. He is the council of governors chairman hence their leader.
Oparanya is however a family man with two wives and children as well. He has managed to keep his family off public limelight as well as keep his family united and one.
Kenyans have been left adoring the harmonious relationship that the two wives of Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya portrayed at the Mashujaa Day celebrations in Kisii. The two women were pictured walking beside the Head of the council of Governors as they made their way to the VIP podium. This is deemed as a rare occurrence since many polygamous families are often marred with chaos and unending competition.
Priscillah Oparanya and Caroline Oparanya have now left Kenyan women in polygamous marriages picking lessons of peaceful coexistence. The two have been serving as the first ladies of the Oparanya led county for a period of 8 years now. The ODM party leader has umpteenth terms warned his opponents not to use his marriage status to dissuade voters.
Priscilla Oparanya was crowned by former Miss Kakamega Tinnah Faith, after showcasing her cat-walking skills to the delight of the tourism planning committee members. Caroline Mchome Ambetsa is a hotelier and Corporate Communications expert.
She has a bachelor’s and a master’s degrees in Corporate Communications from Daystar University and a Diploma in Hotel and Catering Management. She attended primary and secondary school in Tanzania.
Wycliffe Oparanya is married to Caroline Mchome Ambetsa and Priscilla and Priscilla Oparanya. Caroline is a hotelier with a diploma in hotels and catering from Daystar University.
Wycliffe Oparanya has also a son Ian Oparanya one handsome son with brains as well. Ian is a graduate of Brantford University with first-class honors in Economics.
He thanked his parents for being supporting and enabling him to achieve academic excellence. He is focused on his development so as to also make a mark in life.
Doreen Onduso is the daughter of Wycliffe Oparanya who most perceives as a person who is not morally upright. She was once accused by Kenyans of posting a photo on top of his father’s government vehicle.
This attracted criticism as it’s not expected to have government vehicles used badly by government officers. She is however a lady who keeps a low profile away from the public limelight.

Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya’s son Ian Emmanuel, issa shnack. the young man is smart upstairs. He graduated from the University of Bradford last week with first-class honors in BSc Economics.
The excited governor could hide his joy and took to social media to share the good news with the world.
I’m a happy man today because God my Heavenly Father has blessed the work of my hand…I have made my Dad Wycliffe Oparanya and My Mum Tabitha Ambetsa proud parents…I have made my family and friends proud…there are people out here on facebook who believe in me more than I even believe in myself thank you so much for your motivating comments and once again Thank you God for this first class honours.

Unlike most rich kids, Oparanya’s son keeps a low profile away from the spotlight and little is known about him.
