A man has threatened to kill and bury his daughter after she caught him his ‘mpango wa kando‘. Isabelle, a medical practitioner, has reported that her father assaulted her after she discovered the romantic partnership between him and another woman.

According to Isabelle, her dad would usually be so warm whenever she planned a visit. However, he recently appeared faraway and unmoved when she told him that they were planning to visit him.

The dad asked Isabelle who she was coming with and she replied by saying the children, a bubble of grandchildren that usually gave the dad a consistent charm.

Traveling from Isiolo, and since there was no traffic snarl-up in Ruaka, she together with her children arrived in Muchatha area opposite Kengekenge in no time.

Upon their arrival, her father instructed them to go round the house and enter using the backdoor, a remark that left Isabelle confused.

She insisted that she has the key with her, in any case, the father had lost his. It’s here and then that the father decided to push his worries to the corner and open the door.

Once inside, Isabelle reports that they ventured upstairs with her dad carrying the luggage. On their way, sweet aroma stole her balance and soon she’d catch sight of a woman cleaning the kitchen counter.

She asked him who the lady was and he concealed the truth by saying that she was a friend who usually helped with the house chores.

“But dad, I usually send Wanjiru to clean and cook for you,” Isabelle questioned.

Her dad’s decorum instantly frayed and soon he would be slapping and hitting her, threatening to kill and even bury her.

Isabelle has since reported the issue to the police station with his dents serving as a reminder of the mental torture her children went through seeing their mother being beaten.
