Dennis Itumbi is a CAS in the Ministry of ICT. While speaking in an interview, Itumbi revealed that he wanted to be a lawyer. He would attend court sessions and collect notes as lawyers did. His KCSE results however denied him a chance to be one. He instead opted for journalism because he would see journalists close to court proceedings.

Itumbi has risen from a humble beginning to becoming one of the most sought-after media personalities.

He worked for several reputable media like Royal Media Service, Standard News Paper, KBC, and Voice of America before quitting for digital media.

In 2013, Itumbi joined the Statehouse as a member of the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU). He was however kicked out in 2018.

He then got into media space where he dug himself into a formidable mobilization of Kenyans in favor of William Ruto’s Presidential candidacy.

His hard work and resilience at a time when William Ruto was facing hardship in the Jubilee government, bore fruits. He was listed among those appointed as Chief Administrative Secretaries.
