Imenti North Subcounty Administrator, Mwiti Kathendu has embarked on routine monitoring tours for the Subcounty’s public facilities, ECDE, and Dispensaries, with the intention of upscale services provision.
The exercises which started today at Mwirine Primary School, extended to Gakoromone and Igoki dispensaries, in that order.
Kathendu stated that though the County’s mandate is on early childhood education only, the visits also inculcates mentorship for the 2019 KCPE candidates across the Subcounty.
At the two dispensaries, he thanked the medics for keeping their resolve to help the sick, noting that the County administration is committed to a continued improvement of health services.
Fredrick Bundi, Igoki Dispensary in charge, said the facility receives between 50 and 100 patients daily coming from areas stretching to Giaki, Mwiteria, Kirimantune, Ng’onyi and equator, hence pivotal at decongesting the Level V Hospital.
Mr. Kathendu was accompanied by Brian Mwenda, Area MP’s Personal Assistant, Maurine Thuranira, Ntima East Ward Admin, and Florence Kanario, Imenti North Gender Officer.
