Jemimah Ndegwa is the wife of Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa. The Safaricom PLC Board of Directors appointed Mr. Peter Ndegwa on Thursday 24 October 2019. The appointment will take effect from April 1, 2020.
Safaricom is one of the largest telecommunications Companies in Kenya and Africa as a whole. Peter Ndegwa is the current Chief Executive Officer of the Company. The position comes with wealth and unmatched influence.
Peter took over from Michael Joseph also becoming the first African for Diageo head in Europe. He was appointed in October 2019.
