President William Ruto’s 5 daughters: Kenya’s President William Ruto is not only the leader of the country but also a family man. In his day, the President did not waste his time when it came to securing the longevity of his generations. 

Together with his wife Rachel Ruto, they have a total of 6 children and Ruto has a daughter with his ex-lover Prisca Chemutai. Among all his 7 children, 2 are boys while five are girls.

Abby Cherop Ruto

The youngest and probably the smartest among President William Ruto’s daughters, Abby was not born by the current First Lady Rachael Ruto who is the President’s wife. 

Her birth was a result of an affair that the President had with her mother, his ex-lover Prisca Chemutai. This happened when Ruto was the Member of Parliament for Eldoret North constituency and Prisca was a student at the Uasin Gichu-based, Moi University.

The two were introduced by a mutual friend. Abby was born on March 6, 2006, and is currently 16 years old (As of October 2022).

June Ruto

She is another of President Ruto’s daughters and was born in Uasin Gichu County. Although her precise birthday is unknown, NAIROBIminiBLOGGERS found out that she was born in the 1980s.

She rose to fame following her extravagant marriage to Dr. Alexander Ezenagu of Nigeria.

Charlene Chelagat Ruto

Another child of H.E. Dr. William Samoei Ruto and H.E. Mrs. Rachel Ruto is Charlene Ruto (real name Charlene Chelagat). She is currently the Weston Hotel Nairobi’s Director of PR and Branding. For more than two years, she served as the Public Relations and Media Relations Officer at MODE – Mobile Decisioning Holding Ltd in Nairobi.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Charlene worked at Mobile Decisioning Africa Ltd. as a PR and Media Relations Intern for three months in 2015.

She attended Daystar University and earned a communication bachelor’s degree there in 2014. Additionally, she has an MBA from Les Roches Crans-Montana Global Hospitality in hospitality administration/management. Charlene attended Northwestern College as a foreign exchange student from August 2012 to January 2013, which she describes as a mind-opening experience that allowed her to appreciate the diversity of the world.

Stephanie Jepchumba Ruto

Stephanie Jepchumba,  In June 2019 graduated with a law degree from Strathmore University. Ruto, who was present during her daughter’s graduation, commended her for her commitment and professionalism.

Nadia Cherono

Nadia Is President William Ruto’s adopted daughter. When Ruto visited a children’s home, Nadia’s story moved him, and he made the decision to adopt her.
