Buuri Member of Parliament hon. Rindikiri Mugambi has attacked the Kieleweke political faction for allegedly trying to use the BBI as the weapon against some classes of people and their leaders from the Tangatanga side, saying that it will not be acceptable in this republic which belongs to all Kenyans.
The lawmaker Rindikiri Mugambi being the latest to join William Ruto’s movement has shown his concerns and toughness against the BBI, which still brings political heat in the Country. Ruto’s Allies have since remained silent since the Naivasha meeting where they claimed that they were not invited officially.
Speaking through a video shared through the twitter handle of Nation Digital Magazine, the Mp said that Uhuru Kenyatta together with his handshake partner Raila Odinga are trying to play games with Kenyans by claiming that Kenyans have the BBI document which is just lies because even the leaders themselves like him have not seen it yet. He added that only a few leaders are allowed to participate in the ammendments while others left out as if they don’t belong to this Nation.
“Please let us be clear on this and stop unnecessary games here. If we leaders have not laid our hands on the document, how do you expect an ordinary Mwananchi like a poor woman selling Vegetables in the Market to have accessed it? and in addition why do you want to make life difficult for some leaders, by not allowing them to fully present their views about the report which will affect all Kenyans? we will not accept this nonsense like that which was done in Naivasha recently. “The MP Rindikiri Mugambi Claimed.
Rindikiri Mugambi went on to claim that the Parliament is full of Conmen such as the Majority leader Amos Kimunya who propel lies, which means that the BBI is just a fraud. He added that if there were 56 members of Parliament all belonging to Kieleweke who attended the meeting in Naivasha two weeks ago but Kimunya said that there were 300, then that is the start of trouble in this Nation.
“There were only 56 members of Parliament who were present in Naivasha to deliberate on Certain issues on BBI, but it was later announced that there was a total of 300 MPs. Those are pure lies, and if you see some leaders such as Amos Kimunya shamelessly claiming that there were 300 MPs, then he has put the BBI in the interest of a part of the Leaders who control him.”Hon. Rindikiri Mugambi added.
Finally, the Legislator pointed out that the government is trying to force Kenyans to accept the BBI by telling the County Commissioner, Commanders, and the local Chiefs to ensure that they gather the people in their respective regions and tell them to drum their support without seeing the document. He dared them to bring the authorities who will meet the poor Kenyans who will show the fire.
“I was not called invited in Naivasha to attend the meeting but I am not complaining. My real concern is my people who elected me. They must read the report, understand it well, and not just being forced to back up something they don’t know. You just bring those local authorities like the Chiefs, Police Bosses and all you can bring but I want to assure you that you will meet me there with the people. We don’t want games. “The Mp Rindikiri Mugambi asserted.
The BBI report remains to be the topic of discussion in the Country, with leaders from both factions coming up with different proposals. Yesterday, Narok Senator Ledama Olekina met with Raila Odinga and discussed upon adding the views of the Maasai Community and all pastoralists in the Country who also contribute to the Economy of this Nation.
Ruto, faulted the BBI at Bomas of Kenya citing that it has not included all Kenyans. The second in command said that the same ordinary people who are in grassroots levels are the ones who voted them in.
