Manchester United walloped Aston Villa 3-0 at Villa Park, to become the first team in the English Premier League to win four consecutive games by three goals and more.

They had earlier thrashed Brighton and Sheffield by the same margin and went a goal higher against Bournemouth.

Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring from the penalty spot, before Mason Greenwood and Paul Pogba netted goals from awesome strikes outside the 18-yard.

This was United’s fourth Premier League win in a row, and confidence is flowing.

Fernandes clinched a goal and an assist, as he joined Mason Greenwood and Pogba on the score sheet to pile misery on the relegation-bound Villans.

United moves six points ahead of sixth-place Wolves and within a point of fourth-place Leicester City. The two sides meet to finish the Premier League season, and the Red Devils will meet Southampton, Crystal Palace, and West Ham before that.
