According to reports sent to media houses, the president will be meeting the leaders for different issues that have not been made public.

Taking to his Twitter account after receiving an invitation via text message, from Deputy Majority Whip Senator Farhiya Haji, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen confirmed being invited, but wondered who might be getting ousted from the party.

“I have been invited by the Party Leader to a Jubilee Senate PG tomorrow at 10am. I wonder who is being removed this time!..” he tweeted.

The meeting comes amid heated political tension from the handshake side supporting the BBI against Deputy President William Ruto opposing the constitutional reforms.

It should be remembered that the last group meeting the Jubilee Party Members met was last year, and all ended with politicians allied to DP’s camp losing their positions in the party’s leadership.

Some of those Jubilee Party Members axed include Murkomen, Susan Kihika, Aden Duale and Kithure Kindiki to mention but a few.
