The President today, while opening a project at the Kenya Railways has hinted on whether he is going to lift the curfew or not. For a long time now? Kenyans have been complaining that they lift the curfew to ensure that Kenyans move on with their life.
Today, President Uhuru spoke about the possibility of opening up the country to normal. He however gave out precautions to be taken if he removes the curfew to curb the spread of Covid-19 that is still in the country.
“If we remove the curfew, will you behave? We must take care of ourselves and reduce the risk of infecting the elderly,” he said.
It is almost a year now since the first curfew was imposed and since then, many Kenyans doing 24-hour jobs have been rendered jobless.
President Uhuru said that if Kenyans obey the measures, then he will go ahead and lift the curfew before the 12th of Match when he stated the curfew will end. But Kenyans have found out ways to evade police, especially in rural and Nairobi Eastlands areas.
