Speaker Justin Muturi Explaining Why It’s Impossible to Arrest DP Ruto.

Justin Muturi

National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi has now revealed why Deputy President William Ruto cannot be arrested at the moment. Taking to his official Facebook account on Monday, Linturi either President or Deputy President cannot be arrested while in power

Muturi’s clarification comes as Orange Democratic(ODM) Party leaders led by Siaya County Senator James Orengo wants Ruto to resign. COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli threw his iPhone while addressing members of the press stating that Ruto should be arrested over his late guard Sergeant Kipyegon Kenei’s death.

“Let some people stop fake minds and tension. Directorate of criminal investigation director has no power or mandate to arrest Our DP Ruto. Ruto has the power of immunity can’t be arrested. read the constitution well. president and his deputy can’t be arrested or case while in power. Dr Ruto is part of the presidency executive.” Speaker Muturi noted

Muturi probably meant to inform those leaders pushing and purporting that Dp Ruto is arrested. The self-proclaimed hustler on Saturday while speaking in Meru dared government officers opposing him to come forward and face him saying if they are men enough.

Nyeri Town Mp Ngunjiri Wambugu on Monday afternoon claimed that there are two Rutos, Ruto the current Dp and Ruto a 2022 presidential candidate. He noted that is why Ruto has recently complained a lot.

“What is not secure is William Ruto as the 2022 Presidential Candidate. He doesn’t have state support for this role. This is in order because the current state has a President and cannot support someone else who wants to be President; at least not now when there is no election for President underway. They are therefore under no obligation to support William Ruto, the 2022 presidential candidate.” Wambugu claimed
