On Friday the Nairobi deputy governor madam Ann Mwenda, surprised Kibra dwellers after she went to celebrate her birthday with the disabled kiberians.
The colourful event, took place at Woodley in Kibra constituency, where people could easily observe anti-covid 19 measures as directed by the world health organisation.
The down to earth Ann Mwenda and his team donated foodstuffs, face masks, hand washes sanitizer and gloves the all disabled people abled to reach at Woodley grounds.
In her donation package, included at least a one month worth consignment of cooking oil, Unga ngano, Unga ya mahindi, Rice, Soup, cabbages etcetera…

Ann also taught them the important of following government directives, citing it as our responsibility as the whole nation in order to overcome this deadly virus.
She also urged leaders to keep aside petty and baseless politics since it’s our responsibility to work together to save our country against the virus. “Coronavirus is a world health crisis, leaders should keep aside petty politics as a team to defeat Covid-19,” she stated
