Nairobi senator Johnson Sakaja appeared on Milele FM breakfast show today Tues 22 to clarify some political issues which have been following Nairobi county.
Among the issues he disclosed is his political stand on 2022 Presidential elections which have already began to gain pace more than a year to scheduled dates.
Breakfast presenter Alex Makideu happened to ask Senator Johnson Sakaja who he will support between Rt. Hon Raila Odinga and Ruto with some Jubilee members already endorsing Raila.
Senator Johnson Sakaja said he would only support whom his party which he was a primary founder will stand and say is their preferred candidate regardless of his popularity.
“I’ve heard all the noises surrounding 2022 presidential aspirations, some of the jubilee members endorsing Raila Odinga while others on Ruto but on my side, I will support any candidate which my party ( Jubilee) will appoint even if they’ll appoint me.
I’m one of the primary founders of the Jubilee party. Nowadays I hear Mara Kuna Jubilee Asili na jubilee … I will work with DP Ruto for now because he’s my deputy president and that one is undisputed.” Senator Johnson Sakaja said.
Both Raila and Ruto have been going rounds in the recent past as they try to tighten their support in the grassroots despite still been illegal to hold meetings with more than a hundred people according to corona regulations.
Senator Johnson Sakaja also highlighted he will declare his support for BBI when he will read it but he has a big problem with regional governments as it will favor some old politicians.
