Deputy President William Ruto on Friday hosted members of the clergy at his Karen Official residence in Nairobi among them including the presiding Bishop of the Jesus is Alive Ministries, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru.

The deputy president after the meeting with the Bishop quoted the book of Galatians 6:9 to 10 which talks about Christians not getting tired of doing good for they will harvest from all their efforts when the right time comes.
“So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest. So then, as often as we have the chance, we should do good to everyone, and especially to those who belong to our family in the faith — Galatians 6:9-10.”@DP Ruto
Bishop Margaret Wanjiru was in the company of other members of the clergy though it is not yet established whether they are from her Jesus is Alive Ministry church but all of them adorned in the same uniform when they visited DP Ruto.
Bishop Margaret Wanjiru is also a politician having served as the former Member of Parliament for Starehe Constituency in Nairobi as well as a one-time assistant minister during the reign of a coalition government between President Mwai Kibaki and former prime minister Raila Odinga.
She has not yet declared whether she supports the hustler nation under the leadership of deputy president William Ruto or the political side she supports.
