Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Raila Odinga’s son Raila Odinga Junior is on the receiving end after firing at Deputy President William Ruto.

Taking to his Twitter account on Saturday evening, Raila Odinga Junior attacked DP Ruto using a Kiswahili saying.

”Kitendawili… anakula lakini hashibi,” said Raila Junior. This loosely translates to: ”Riddle, he eats but he doesn’t get satisfied.”

Raila Junior was reacting to today’s Standard magazine headline which had also attacked DP Ruto.

According to Standard, DP Ruto had fallen out with President Uhuru Kenyatta, who is also the Jubilee party leader.

The Standard Newspaper had indicated that Ruto is in office but has no power.

”Big office, no power,” reads the Standard Magazine headline.

The newspaper noted that Uhuru was no longer including Ruto is the government’s activities which is a clear indication that Ruto no longer has power.

Also, Ruto came out to react to the headline, pointing out that this was an insult to President Uhuru Kenyatta and him.

The Standard Newspaper’s headline attracted mixed reactions from a sections of citizens and leaders.

After Raila Junior’s comments, citizens flooded his twitter account with all sorts of comments.

Being the son of Ruto’s political rivalry, commenting anything about Ruto was obviously going to land him in fire from social media users.
