ODM leader Raila Odinga has suffered fresh attacks from leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto after his remarks on the hustler tag.
Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika was among leaders from Ruto’s camp who came out to attack Raila after he said that Ruto’s narrative was dividing the country.
Susan Kihika on her part said that Raila was troubled by the fact that the conversation was shifting from him to DP Ruto and that is why he is attacking Ruto’s hustler narrative.
Susan Kihika said that Raila had recently insulted hustlers by calling them ‘takataka’ and now the conversation is not about him getting a position but about the hustlers whom he had insulted.
Raila in a post took a swipe at the deputy president saying that his ‘hustler’ narrative had the potential of dividing the country adding that it was not creating employment for the youth.
Susan Kihika in response said that the former Prime Minister is in panic mode as Ruto is becoming the conversation now.
“How Dishonest! What did Tialala & Tibim even mean? He can’t handle that the conversation isn’t about getting HIM a POSITION but about those he calls TAKATAKA! He is out of his depth & is definitely PAST HIS SELL BY DATE! His bro’s handshake won’t save him either he is in a panic!” said Kihika.
DP Ruto has suffered attacks from his political opponents over the hustler narrative with many saying he is only after the votes of the hustlers ahead of the 2022 elections.
Ruto and his camp however responded to their critics saying their agenda is to help the ordinary mwananchi through their hustler tag and wheelbarrow movement.
