The Deputy President William Ruto visited Machakos Today where he was accompanied by key politicians. He attended church service A.I.C Bomani, in Machakos. Police were however expecting him ay Western where he outplayed them.
The DP was accompanied by Makueni Governor Kivutha kibwana, MPs Victor Munyaka (Machakos), Vincent Musyoka (Mwala), Nimrod Mbai (Kitui East), Hon Aisha Jumwa (Malindi), Kimani Ichungwah(Kikuyu), George Theuri (Embakasi W.) And Nixon Korir (Langata)
He appreciated their effort of joining him in celebrating with other Christians Machakos Today. His supporters were also pleased by his clever way of outplaying the police and security forces who have been ordered to stop him and his allies from having gatherings claiming it is early campaigning.
The DP will now have to use evasive ways to outplay his opponents who do not want him to the campaign. Allies and supporters from his camp have claimed it is very unfair, as other leaders are allowed to attend meetings and hold large gatherings while the second in command cannot.
