Politician Who Mocked God And Died Painfully Days Later

God is never mocked for sure and it does matter how long it will take but whoever does that will surely reap what he had sown. Most times when God lifts us high, we neglect Him, and we get to the point of insulting Him.

Something rather Unusual happened back in August 2014 when CORD was celebrating win in Mathare by election.

The National Alliance on lost the Mathare seat to the Orange Democratic Movement, giving the Cord coalition a fresh impetus in its push for a referendum.

ODM’s Stephen Kariuki fought off stiff competition from George Wanjohi of TNA garnering 14,966 votes against his rival’s 14,082.

While celebrated win, the late Homa Bay Senator, Otieno Kajwang, sensationally stated that Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) is “popular than God in Kenya”.

He also said that God has got no power to stop the Referendum: “Now even if they call the Almighty God, the referendum is unstoppable because Kenyans have spoken,” Kajwang said.

In his speech, Kajwang also said then that the Mathare by-election is a good indicator that former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, won the presidency in the previous general election, only to be rigged out by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries and commission.

Kajwang died on 19 November 2014 of a heart attack. This is three months later after controversial remark.

Chief government pathologist Dr. Johansen Odour said that an analysis on the Senator’s heart showed that he had a narrow valve, also myocardial infarction and the heart attack was due to the blocking of blood flow to the heart.
