A middle-aged man has reportedly died after he allegedly collapsed during a police recruitment training process in Webuye.
According to the reports given by officers who were in charge of training recruits from Webuye, they revealed that 24-Year-old Nelson Wafula collapsed after which he was immediately rushed to the hospital.
However, the latest reports received from the doctors who were looking after the man have confirmed that he passed away while receiving treatment.
“He had just run two laps after which he went and sat on the shade, it’s unfortunate because I believed that he was just resting not knowing that he had passed away “, One of his recruitment mates Said.
The man’s death sparked a lot of mixed reactions from Kenyans who seemed to have been confused about what might have killed the deceased.
With others claiming that he might have died due to the hard training sessions, others went ahead and claimed that maybe he had an underlying illness.
While acknowledging the man’s death, the hospital medical Superintendent revealed that the deceased might have died due to an underlying heart problem subject to further treatment.
