Drama! Senator Malala Slaps Gladys Wanga at the Matungu By-Election

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala and his counterpart Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga have been involved in a heated altercation that led to a physical brawl. The two are currently in Matungu overseeing the by-election in the area.

The incident as reported by K24 took place at Bulimbo Primary School at mid-morning hours. According to the report, Senator Malala and his team were made aware of ongoing voter bribery claims in the area and rushed to the scene only to find Gladys Wanga and the team bribing the voters.

A scuffle ensued leading to Senator Malala raining slaps on the vocal women rep. The report further explains Malala also kicked the women rep before security personnel separated them.

Malala is supporting the Amani National Congress (ANC) candidate Peter Oscar Nabulindo while Wanga is supporting ODMs David Were.

The by-elections that kicked off at 6 am have so far presented various dramas with UDA candidate in Kisii arrested over the same bribery allegations.
