Governor Mike Sonko in the recent days he has been on the front row in fighting Coronavirus. This is because of the highest number of Coronavirus cases reported in Nairobi county. Some days back Sonko was fumigating chemical which is used to kill Coronavirus using a tanker which was label BBI.
During yesterday’s night, Sonko’s men were in the streets of Nairobi fumigating as they try to control the spread of Coronavirus. Mike Sonko took photos of the activity and posted on his Twitter as a way of telling the people on how he is fighting COVID-19.
“Tonight we are fumigating using the latest technology, in our possession we have different machines doing various work. One is a fog machine, that emits a dense vapor that appears similar to smoke which has enough capacity to kill bacteria within our environment.” Mike Sonko posted.
Nairobi county residents and other busy cities in the country were advised to reduce movements from one county to another. According to the health cabinet secretary Mutahi Kagwe, staying at home is the best method of controlling the spread of Coronavirus as it does not move by itself but moved by people.
As the government is up to fighting Coronavirus, the social media users also were warned against making jokes about the COVID-19. Every person is responsible for the fight against this pandemic as it spares no one. Keep maintaining social distance, high level of hygiene, staying at home and avoiding handshakes by reducing up and down movements.
