President Uhuru Kenyatta’s alleged meeting with former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto at the Statehouse on Wednesday, May 13th for a discussion could result is meant to disappoint DP William Ruto even further.
On Wednesday May 13th, photos of a chopper made wide circulation on social media with speculations rife that the Statehouse had send it to pick the former Chepalungu lawmaker.
If this is true, what it therefore means is that Kenyatta was applying the principle of war that requires one to make full use of the weapon held in and after showing it to the enemy. The president is simply not willing to fight a half war with his deputy. He wants to go full circle so that the DP is left with nothing to clutch on anymore.
COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli, not once, advised the president to never ever take back a knife he had already shown his deputy; that this would result in the latter harming the former. “You never show your enemy a sword then withdraw it back. He will finish you,” Atwoli once advised Mr. Kenyatta.
Isaac Rutto’s alleged meeting with the president may, therefore, result in him being named in the looming cabinet reshuffle, and in the process another DP Ruto’s man may be shown the door.
