Deputy President William Ruto’s “Hustler Mansion” Official Karen Residence is not new in the eyes of many Kenyans.
DP Ruto’s official residence in Karen was built on a 10-acre parcel of land by Kibaki’s government at a cost of 450 million shillings. The palatial residence was meant to house then VP Kalonzo Musyoka but the Wiper leader never moved in.
The Hustler Mansion, christened the Hustler’s Mansion by the DP himself, gobbled up more than Ksh400 million to have it completed and ready for occupation.
While many Kenyans have had the chance to visit the premises as the DP’s guest, especially when hosting a delegation of religious and opinion leaders across the country, less is known about the residence.
Well, a report by the Daily Nation has revealed a lot of interesting information about the facility.
According to the Nation report, the Official Karen Residence is fitted with three gates, the main house, office block for the DP which also has a boardroom lounge and media center.
Besides, the facility boasts a guest house, domestic staff quarters, security houses that is complete with an armory.
Away from the main house, the facility is well decorated with a swimming pool, manicured lawns, and luxurious amenities.
Also, the facility has a gazebo complete with a gym, sauna and steam bath, pergola walkways, and an expansive garden that can hosts large gatherings.
