Harambee Starlets were thumped 5-0 by an experienced Chile side in the ongoing Turkish Women Cup at Starlight Sports Complex in Instanbul.
The South Americans took the fight to Kenya right from the first whistle and found the back of the net just within eight kick-offs following a rasping shot that swished into the top left corner, leaving the Kenyan custodian well beaten.
Chile, who displayed fluid passes and exceptional ability both on and off the ball, extended their lead in the 21st minute after the ball was lobbed over the Kenyan defense to find the striker who made no mistake at all.

Starlets, who are using the tournament to sharpen up ahead of the crunch African Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers against East African neighbors Tanzania in April, will next face football underdogs Uzbekistan on Tuesday.
