Let Us Pray For Raila to Get Well Soon – Governor Mandago Tells Ruto.

Mandago

Governor Mandago: Even as ODM party leader Raila Odinga continues to recuperate days after undergoing minor back surgery in Dubai, different political leaders have come out to call for prayers for the ODM chief.

Latest on the list to wish Raila well and call on his colleagues to pray for Babah, is Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago.

Speaking on Friday at Seren Village, Aldai Constituency, Nandi County during the burial of Hellena Cherobon Serem mother to Hon. Cornelly Serem MP Aldai Constituency, Mandago took issues with a section of leaders who have been silently praying badly for Raila, saying everybody including the Deputy President William Ruto should pray for his well being.

“You should never pray that when your competitor gets a malaria, he or she dies. That is wrong! Instead, pray for them so that when God blesses you, they will come before the people to testify,” stated Mandago

“We are praying for them to get well soon so as to live and see William Ruto taking the presidency in 2022. Those are the people who will come and testify when you have succeeded so let’s all pray for them to get well, ” added Mandago.

On his part, Deputy President William Ruto, who was also present at the function, skipped politics and instead dwell on the current revenue sharing formula stalemate in the senate.

Ruto maintained that a win-win solution should be sought by Senators so as not to divide the country.

“I want to urge our Senators to apply themselves in a manner that unites the country, in a manner that is fair and a manner that is equitable. That is our wish as government and people of Kenya. A win-lose formula is not a solution rather a win-win formula,” stated Ruto

Ruto insisted that it was not a must for one county to loose for another to gain, expressing his confidence that the senators from both the Majority and the Minority sides will come to a mutual agreement.

On his part, Nandi Governor Stephen Sang took issues with Nandi Hills Senator Alfred Keter against betraying DP William Ruto in the region.

Sang urged all Kalenjin leaders to tone down their differences and come together saying those who oppose Ruto in the region risks being dumped into political dust pins early in 2022.
