On Thursday, November 26, 2020, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni blasted the youths who were supporting the Presidential aspirant Bobi Wine, asserting that they should not allow being blinded with Opposition leaders who lack logic.

While addressing Ugandans from the Bugisu sub-region in Mbale, President Yoweri Kaguta asked the youths to focus on important things and not running in the streets of Kampala protesting that he (Museveni) should be removed from office.

According to Museveni no political leader in Uganda can defeat him, adding that all the opposition leaders lack logic and the real facts of what is happening around them, dismissing his involvement in the frustration of Bobi Wine who has been giving him sleepless night over his huge crowd.

“When we talk about the youths these days, they talk about biology or age. That is very dangerous. We need the youth that is disciplined and ideological,” President Yoweri Kaguta said.

Museveni shared his youthful stage, alleging that he was a very hardworking, focused and active youth who brought up many youths who were morally upright, blasting Bobi Wine for misleading Ugandan youths.

According to Museveni, Bobi Wine was an example of a failed youth who cannot lead Uganda to another level, alleging that during the Independence time in Uganda, there were many young people who could not handle the State affairs and meet the interest of the Society.

“The leaders of those days were emphasizing on identity along tribal and religious lines and looking down on women. This trend caused them to fail, plunging the country into chaos.

Such mistakes must not be repeated. I don’t want that to happen again especially to the NRM youths. You should not fall into that group,” Museveni said.
