Deputy President William Ruto’s attempt to defend the Jubilee Track Record failed as Kenyans launched a scathing attack towards him.
This is after Ruto mentioned what the Jubilee government has achieved during its first term in office saying that in the second term, their work has been affected by politics of the handshake and the BBI.
Kenyans however dismissed Ruto’s-Jubilee Track Record telling him that the second term the jubilee government failed to deliver because he, Ruto, has failed in his duties.
Kenyans told the DP that he has been campaigning for 2022 elections instead of focusing on delivering his promises to Kenyans.
“Constant political campaigns since 2018 are the main problem…. Led by you,” said Francis Kigondu.
“Where did TangaTanga come from? You were busy campaigning instead of supporting your boss’s big four agenda, be honest for once bwana DP,” said Tom Osaso.
“The DP himself is the one who derailed jubilee’s development agenda by campaigning January to January, asifikirie we are fools, tunaona na tunajua,” said Charles G’motego.
“Early campaigns led by the dp have derailed the big 4 agenda,” said Fred Kim.
“Where was he and their manifestoes before BBI they had 5 good years from 2013 to 2017 we’re still waiting for stadia, laptops, double digit economy, 10000km of roads, galana kulalu irrigation scheme and many more…all we got were corruption, scandal after scandal and more empty promises,” said Stev Awich.
According to Nation, Ruto mentioned what they have been able to achieve during their first term saying BBI and the handshake has stopped them from delivering.
“During our first term in office we did lots of development. We made roads, made railways lines, we connected people to electricity and water, we built technical training institutes until this second term that has been hijacked by politics of the handshake and BBI — which I don’t say is bad — but only geared at helping a few individuals and not Kenyans at large,” said Ruto.
