Deputy President William Ruto has revealed that he is busy politicking instead of assisting President Uhuru Kenyatta to deliver despite a past request by the Head of State wanting leaders to stop early campaigns and focus on service delivery.
Speaking in a church at Bungoma, Deputy President William Ruto has said that he is not antagonistic with Amani National Congress Party leader and Forum Of Restoration for Democracy Party leader Moses Wetangula informing them that they should look for him before they are surpassed by time.
“You can’t meet a beautiful lady for the first time in burial and you propose to her. That lady will turn down your proposal. You have to visit her at home. I have not refused to meet and talk with ANC and Ford Kenya leaders. Kindly Osotsi, tell those leaders whom you are campaigning for to look for me before it’s too late,” stated Ruto.
DP Ruto has continued to ask Mudavadi and Wetangula not to dilly dally revealing that he already kicked off his campaigns long ago and can’t wait.
The Second in Command has said that the election is 2022 and he is busy preparing himself contrary to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s plea.
“Don’t be late because I can’t wait for you for too long, elections are in 2022 and I am busy preparing myself for the race. It a Must they prepare themselves too because it is me who look for them via the phone. Tell them at least to pick my calls whenever I call them,” DP Ruto has added.
Earlier, President Uhuru Kenyatta and who is remaining two years to leave the office had asked leaders that they should stop politicking and focus on delivering what they promised Kenyans.
