The Deputy President William Samoei Ruto took to his Twitter page to express his grievance over the Gazette notice No. 3084 dated 6th April 2020.

In a tweet dated 10th April, the Deputy President stated that despite the country focus being on Covid-19, there were members in the Jubilee party who were fraudulently instituting illegal changes in officials of the Jubilee party.

He went ahead to state that it was his duty as a deputy leader to alert the registrar of the fraud and that Jubilee party members should know that the matter was being handled.

However, Netizens did not take lightly to his tweet and took to his twitter page to express their scepticism.

Here are some of the tweet replies from the cybernauts;

“@Pmanjeru;Explain this;Mimi ukikuja kwangu na Sycophancy nakuweka tu bahali yako. Not supporting Raila doesn’t mean I support Ruto. I am among other few individuals who need better options on the table than the Raila,Uhuru and Ruto threesome.😏”

“@Kiongozi_254_ke;If only you care enough to deal with the Kenyans in China…..What you are dealing with is the LEAST of our worries….WE DON’T EVEN NEED JUBILEE!”

“@ElijahKipteng;Stop trying to take us back to endless political squabbles – if you have notified the registrar and it is being handled there is no need of involving us; it has been four weeks without politics and I wish it remains that way.”

“@Charleskaris;You’re focused on Politics,and want to generate a conversation around the issue.Shouldn’t that be @RaphaelTuju_EGH Concern?”

“@kipbett;For now party issues can take backstage. This Covid-19 has given us a well deserved break from politicians and politics which poison us daily.”
