His words comes after Moi’s Newspaper, the standard published news that president Uhuru Kenyatta was set to use his powers as a party leader to enter into a coalition with his now new friend Hon Raila Odinga.

Former presidential aide Dennis Itumbi quickly reacted to standard’s claims saying the Standard was now being misguided by some selfish individuals out to frustrate DP William Ruto.

“IT seems @StandardKenya have their own copy of the Jubilee Constitution. Article 9 gives the Party leader no such powers. Only NEC can authorize coalitions. Lying anonymous Sources, quoting Non-Existent clauses in the party constitution,” he blasted the Standard.

The Standard Newspaper has since then been put on the spot for allegedly publishing ill-informed content. Gatundu South Member of parliament Hon Moses Kuria has even urged Kenyans to avoid buying newspapers saying it might also be helping in the spread of Coronavirus disease. His words have however been seen as a way of fighting Moi’s Standard Newspaper.
