The newly unveiled Deputy President Ruto’s Jubilee Asili Party has attracted the attention of the Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe. This comes after the surfacing of the Jubilee Asili party Centre which is a parallel office to the Party’s Pangani Headquarters.
However the Jubilee Asili Party’s motive has not yet been exposed to the public.
Speaking to the Standard Media, David Murathe criticized the action by the Deputy President Ruto’s allies to promoting the Jubilee manifesto from the new Jubilee Asili Party Centre.
David Murathe sent a message to the Deputy President through the standard as he declared that there is no way one can claim to have a party that appears to share a name and slogan with another as it will bring confusion to members of the public.
He went further to disclose that Jubilee Party has its copyright and thus they cannot list another party with that name. He cautioned them that if they want to move to something else they are good to go.
“If they want to move to something else they are good to go. Good riddance. These are people who had promised to work from the Jubilee headquarters but now claim they have been denied,” Murathe said.
However,he went further to warn the Deputy President’s allies not to desist contributing their monthly contributions to the Jubilee Party and supporting the Jubilee’s bills.
