Covid-19 Update: The Ministry of Health has issued a statement to the news rooms this Sunday announcing 388 more COVID-19 cases recorded in the country in the last 24 hours.
The new cases have been confirmed after counducting a sample test of 4,287 samples across the country.
Meanwhile, Kenya has recorded a total of 41,546 positive cases since the beginning of the pandemic while the cumulative samples tested stand at 591, 198.
From the cases, 383 are Kenyans while 5 are male.
In terms of gender, 284 are male while 104 are female.
On an encouraging note, the Ministry of Health has confirmed 63 new recoveries raising the country’s total recovered cases to 31,000.
From the recovered cases, 40 were discharged from various health facilities across the while 23 were on the home based care program.
