Today we are going to check on the amount of money you need in order to construct a borehole in Kenya. First of all, a borehole is a deep and narrow shaft that can be either drilled horizontally or vertically.
Boreholes are mostly constructed in deserts where there is a shortage of water. Not all the boreholes are usually permanent, some of them are usually seasonal.
The seasonal boreholes usually vary depending on rainfalls. They usually operate more efficiently during rainy seasons.
Constructing a borehole usually needs slightly huge capital. In order for you to construct a borehole, you will be required to have an approximate capital of between 550,000 Kenyan Shillings (minimum) to a maximum of up to 5 million Kenyan Shillings. The amount usually varies depending on the size.
Most boreholes are usually between 100m to 150m deep. As for mine, it is 120m deep. That borehole averagely cost me over 2 million Kenyan Shillings. This cost includes labor, materials, and other expenses like transport and food.
You can also comment your opinions on the price. If you have ever constructed one at your place please feel free to tell us about the experience and the total cost.Would you like to get published on this Popular Blog?
