Uganda’s general election campaigns are gearing up with both candidates trying as much as they can to woe voters and cement their grip in their strongholds.
The main challenge being between incumbent president Museveni and first-timer Mr. Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
President Museveni is facing stiff competition for the first time ever since he seized power in 1986.
The pressure piles day in day out as his opponent Mr. Robert Kyagulanyi enjoys massive support from the youths who are angry about a change of power.
Bobi Wine is a member of parliament for Kyadondo East Constituency and is as well a popular musician in Uganda.
According to a tweet by Bobi Wine, he says it was a hail storm of bullets and teargas as police and the Military tried to prevent people from coming out to listen to their message.
He says despite that, many people overcame the storm and attended. He concludes by saying Uganda is ready for change.
