Former speaker of Nairobi county assembly Beatrice Elachi wa sworn in today as a chief Administrative in the ministry of public service and gender affairs.
The former speaker was sworn in along side other nine executives in a ceremony held at state house on Friday ,February 19.The process was conducted by Head of public service Dr .Joseph Kinyua.
Beatrice Elachi will serve in the public service ministry with former Nairobi representative Rachael sheesh and Linah Jebii Kilimo.
President Uhuru Kenyatta told the newly appointed CAS to prioritize the completion of ongoing National Government projects their respective dockets. He also advised them to embrace teamwork in advancing the government agenda.
The other newly sworn-in CAS include eric l simiyu wafukho (National Treasury), Jackson Musyoka Kalla (Labour and social protection), Lawrence Angola Omuhaka (Agriculture, Livestock fisheries and cooperation), and professor Japheth Ntiba (state law office and department of justice).
The president in previous meeting he had asked all executive officers to ensure prudent utilization of public resources in service delivery .He added that kenyans must always get the highest value return of their money .
The head of state urged the officers to embrace teamwork and unity of purpose so as to deliver the promise of a better and prosperous Kenya for all.
