Deputy President William Ruto earlier today led his allies drawn from the Tangatanga political group to a BBI meeting at Karen in Nairobi.
The meeting focused on the building bridges initiative with the Leaders later emerging with a joint declaration over the contents of the report. Ruto in particular issued a series of proposals and made a firm stand on the document.
And now, Orange democratic movement director of political affairs and Ungunja member of parliament Opiyo Wandayi has emerged to respond to Ruto’s New position.
Opiyo mocked Ruto for terming the BBI report as a project for few rich people, political conmanship, etc even as he hit out at what he suggests is a lack of a solid stand on the BBI report.
“So on one hand, BBI is conmanship meant to create seats for wadosi and will cost over sh15B (hence should be rejected), on another, we should still discuss and have consensus on purported fresh issues before an ALL YES referendum. kipchumba Murkomen, what’s the point?” Opiyo wrote.
