Babu Owino or Paul Ongili (born October 10, 1989) is a Kenyan Politician from Nyalenda. Moreover, he is the former chairperson of the University of Nairobi Student Organization. He became a political personality through the university elections.
Babu showed his power and planning to the people. Later on, he took the role of the council chairman. He retained his place for four consecutive years.
After completing his college studies, he engaged himself in local politics. However, he lost the Westlands seat opposite Timothy Wayonyi in 2013. His victory on the Embakasi East nullified due to the court orders.

Paul Ongili took birth to his parents on October 10, 1989 (age 30 years, as in 2019) in Nyalenda. However, his father died in his childhood. Paul’s mother was a local brew seller in the city. He faced several hardships in his life.

Throughout his life, Babu was always a leader. He was the head boy in Primary School, prefect throughout high school and students head at Millennium Academy.
In 2011, he became the SONU chairman. After graduating in 2012, he contested for the Westlands Member of Parliament seat but did not make it past the nomination. After going back to UoN in 2013, he became the SONU Chairman for four years.

In an interview with K24’s Anne Kiguta he said the matter was sub judice and cannot be talked about the outside court. In an interview with Jalas, he said that he was covering the hospital bills and that DJ Evolve was a personal friend and nothing can come between them. He also said there was no saint without a past and no one should judge him and he will not take it lightly.
