It has been a crackdown with the police intelligence on drug trafficking. As police continue to seize different illegal drugs in the market the main question remains is it a setup or our intelligence unit has reached that state? and if isn’t a set up then keep it up.
Why do I say so over recent days bhang smuggler have continued to use highly tricky methods in the transportation of that precious commodity. Isiolo- Wajir highway has become the major route over recent days.
The police and Dci have continued to work together to ensure the smuggling comes to an end,,over the weekend one woman and four men were arrested in the highway transporting the plant that is estimated to be worth 20 million ksh.
It is worth noting that the criminals who have been undertaking this illegal activity have been using modes of concealment ranging from the use of water bowsers, stuffing in fuel tanks, dashboards, and spare wheels, and most recently, creating additional compartments under buses, lorries, and other vehicles,” Ms. Shako said.

She said investigations have revealed that proceeds of the illegal business have directly funded terror activities within the region.
